PURPOSE:To reinforce a self-diagnostic function without increasing a memory of a numerical control device, by providing a diagnostic cassette containing a diagnostic program freely attachably. CONSTITUTION:A diagnostic cassette 7 contains a diagnostic program, and by inputting a data from a keyboard by a necessary personnel for service, a data of the inside, for instance, a state of a RAM 3 can be monitored. That is, by inputting an address of a data to be monitored, a data of its address can be displayed. Also, it is possible to operate the diagnostic program, only when a specific signal has been inputted by generating an interruption by an input signal from the outside. Accordingly, by decreasing a self-diagnostic memory contained in a numerical control device, and increasing a memory of the diagnostic cassette, a diagnostic function can be reinforced without increasing the memory of the numerical control device.
