PURPOSE:To make the restriction on the removal order of multiple hatch covers unnecessary by parallelly moving a longitudinal drain receiving trough to both extended and withdrawn positions in the horizontal plane interlockingly with the rotation of a twist lock pin. CONSTITUTION:When a hatch 2 is to be closed, a hatch cover 4 supported by a twist lock pin 6 fitted to a crane spreader 7 is mounted on the hatch 2, the twist lock pin 6 is rotated 90 deg. so that it can be released from the hatch cover 4, and at the same time, a horizontal rod 11 is extended as the twist lock pin 6 is rotated, a drain receiving trough 13' fitted to the rod 11 reaches the boundary with the adjacent hatch cover 4, the rain water passing the gap between them is received and discharged. When the hatch cover 4 is to be opened, the twist lock pin 6 is inserted into the hatch cover 4 and is rotated 90 deg. to be engaged with the hatch cover 4, the rod 11 is shortened by its rotation, the drain trough 13' is withdrawn and removed from the adjacent hatch cover 4, thus the hatch cover 4 can be opened.
