<p>PURPOSE:To prevent self-excited vibration of a shaft by giving a fluctuation of friction coefficient in relation to sliding speed a positive characteristic through machining of many small bores or slots in either a friction surface of both friction surfaces of clutch plates of a wet multi-plate clutch. CONSTITUTION:A wet multi-plate clutch is formed of a lining plate 31 with normal oil slot on either one side of input/output and a steel plate 45 on the other side thereof. Many small bores 34 are drilled in the lining part piece 33 of this lining plate 31 and are arranged in quadrangles by means of oil slots 30. And many small through holes 48 are provided in the steel plate 45, communication between oil slots 30 and friction surfaces 33 of the lining plate 31 for making contact with both surfaces under a slipping condition is switched alternately and the oil on the friction surface 33 is removed. Accordingly, self-excited vibration of a shaft is prevented from being generated by giving a fluctuation of friction coefficient in relation to relatively slipping speed between both plates 31 and 45 a positive characteristic.</p> |
