PURPOSE:To prevent color registration from occurring by grouping respective photoelectric conversion parts by MxN, and summing up signal charges in the respective groups and leading them out. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric conversion parts are grouped by every three rows and three columns to compose one picture-element measurement part 2a of three photo-electric conversion parts 3 for red, three photoelectric conversion parts 4 for green, and three photoelectric conversion parts 5 for blue. A vertical scanning shift register 91a for blue, a vertical scanning shift register 91b for green, and a vertical scanning shift register 91c for red are provided so as to set a charge storage time for each color. Further, horizontal MOS switches 121a, 122a,... for blue, horizontal MOS switches 121b, 122b,... for green, and horizontal MOS switches 121c, 122c,... are provided so as to sum up signal charges of each color and lead them out of the same one-picture-element measurement part.
