PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a speaker by joining the inner or outer periphery of a damper to a diaphragm and also joining the other to a gasket or frame, etc. CONSTITUTION:A frame 7 on the opposite surface from a magnetic circuit, gasket 9, or a net joined to the gasket 9, and the inner and outer peripheries of the damper 4 are joined with the diaphragm 6. Consequently, the damper can be removed from a voice coil without impeding the stable operation of the speaker and the total height of the speaker is reduced.
