The invention relates to a flow-rate meter having a measuring element, for example an impeller, which can move as a function of the rate of flow of the liquid medium and whose movements can be converted into electric signals which are to be fed to a counter for integrating measurement of the volumetric flow. The moving measurement element (6) is coupled in a moving fashion to at least one control element (7, 16, 22) which is arranged in a liquid medium (5) which is at least weakly electrically conductive and which are assigned electrodes (2, 18) via which it is possible to tap the electric signals used to count the movement.
