MOBILE BODY GUIDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable guiding of a mobile body by casting light from a fixed position on the ground side toward the mobile body to create a light mark for guiding on the mobile body. CONSTITUTION:A light beam 8 is emitted from a mark casting means 7 toward the cockpit of an airplane 2 running on a course 3. A light mark 8a is formed on a plane at the height of cockpit position of the airplane, and a light mark 8b is formed on the plane of an apron 1. Light marks 8a and 8b have naturally similar forms due to rectilinear propagation of light. The light mark 8a is formed on the cockpit window, and a pilot can recognize a deviation from the course and the position of stopping by observing the projected light mark 8a.
