PURPOSE:To perform quick and free input of pictures regardless of the color condition of a picture already drawn, the presence of a colored block, etc., by judging automatically the present color condition of the colored block to be drawn. CONSTITUTION:A foreground color memory part 24 and a background color memory part 25 of 4 bits respectively are provided to a pattern memory part 23 for respective colored blocks. The colors of both parts 24 and 25 are selected in response to '1' and '0' of the part 23. Then it is decided 15 whether a subject colored block has the color of a foreground color plane, the color of a background color plane or mixture of both colors in terms of all picture elements of said colored block against the a drawing indication defined by the color designated by a user. Based on this color deciding result, the background color plane, the foreground color plane and one of both color planes are allocated with designated colors for the color of the foreground color plane, the background color plane and the mixture of both colors respectively. Thus the drawing 16 is carried out respectively. |
