This invention relates to the production method of grinding stone which is used for grinding the gradia cylinder. The manufacturing process is as follows; the unartificial bauxite is melted by heating above 1000≦̸C and quenched rapidly below 0≦̸C and reduced to powder the size of which is 800 mesh. After this process, the bouxite powder and phenol resins are mixed in the ratio of 80-85% and 15-20%, and formed in the mold by using the hydraulic press machine. After this process, the grinding stone is heated at 180≦̸C for 8 hours or more.
