<p>PURPOSE:To record signals of plural systems of a time with inexpensive constitution and also to perform a proper tracking operation, by superposing pilot signals whose frequencies are switched for each prescribed time difference on all information signals of (n) systems. CONSTITUTION:Three types of pilot signals are successively recorded on the areas obtained by dividing each track equally into three parts among those pilot signals of 4 types. Furthermore, in terms of the relation between the adjacent area of each pilot signal and a frequency, the pilot signals f4 and f2 are recorded in the right and left areas adjacent to the area where a pilot signal f3 is recorded respectively as long as this area is noticed. When such a track pattern is formed, the pilot signals of the same frequency are supplied to three magnetic heads that perform the simultaneous recording of signals S1-S3 three systems. At the same time, these pilot signals can be obtained by switching successively in the cycle corresponding to the difference between track forming timings.</p> |
