PURPOSE:To reduce the cost in manufacturing a trimming die, etc., by integrally forming the projecting part displaying a spring function on a buffer pad, then by joining the projecting part to the bottom part of a female die. CONSTITUTION:The block 13 having plural recessed holes 13a is installed prior to setting a product A by setting a recessed part 4 on a female die 3. After setting the product A, then, the buffer pad 6 having a projecting part 14 is integrally formed by pouring a synthetic resin from a pouring hole 9. The pad 6 is then adhered by an adhesive to the bottom face of the recessed part 4 of the female die 3 at the end face of the projecting part 14. In case of using the trimming die using the pad 6, the trimming is performed the pad 6 is descended by abutting to the body (a) to be worked, the projecting part is deformed plastically and by pressing the body (a) to be worked with its elasticity. In this way the part of a spring, etc. is disused and the cost reduction and light weighing of the trimming die are enabled.
