<p>The derivs. of general formula (I), in which R3 is (II) or (III) or where R2 is H, 1-6C alkyl or alkoxy-methyl or 3-6C cyclo-alkyl, R4 is H and R5 is 1-6C alkyl, or R4 and R5 together form a 2-4C alkenyl chain, Ra is 1-6C alkyl or alkoxy, or trifluoro 1-3C alkyl, are made by (a) reacting a cpd. of formula (I), in which R3 is -COOH with a cpd. of general formula (V) to give a cpd. of formula (I) in which R3 is (II); or (b) reacting a cpd. of formula (I) in which R3 is -CONHc with a cpd. R2C(OCH3)2, and reacting the prod. with NH2OH or other aminating agent to give the same prod. as in (a); or (c) reacting a cpd. of formula (I) in which R3 is -CN with NH2OH, and reacting the prod. with a cpd. (R2CO)2O, to give (I( in which R3 is (III); or (d) reacting a cpd. of formula (XI) with a cpd. R3CH2CN to give (I).</p> |
