PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of elasticity of a paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue in production and in distribution process thereof, by blending powder of the starch of the devil's-tongue with glycine and a preservative such as ethyl alcohol in specific ratios, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Powder of the starch of the devil's-tongue is blended with (A) 0.5-10wt% glycine and (B) 0.2-10wt% at least one preservative selected from ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol and a fatty acid monoglyceride to prevent reduction of elasticity of a paste of the starch of the devil's-tongue. |
