The invention relates to a work table, of which the frame consists of at least two laterally arranged uprights and a longitudinal support connecting the uprights and of supporting arms, attached to the longitudinal support, for the suspended reception of a below-table cabinet. The below-table cabinet is fixed to the supporting arms via screw bolts. To this end, the supporting arms have transverse grooves on their underside. Arranged between the mutually adjacent supporting arms, in the region of the transverse grooves, are rails which together with the transverse grooves form a continuous channel for lateral displacement of the below-table cabinet.
