PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can measure the amt. of dust for a long period of time with decreased resplashing by providing a rotary capturing plate which captures dust by inertial force to the inside of a cylindrical case disposed to the bottom surface of an impactor nozzle plate having a uniform aperture. CONSTITUTION:This dust capturing device consists of the cylindrical upper case 1 provided with the impactor nozzle plate 3 having the uniformly distributed aperture in the upper part and the lower case 2. A capturing plate holding part 6 holding the rotary capturing plate 5 which can be freely rotated by a rotational driving part 8 is provided to the upper case 1. The rotary capturing plate 5 consists of a member such as fine metallic mesh structure having air permeability and is stuck with circular filter paper 11 to capture the dust atop said plate. A suction pump 15 such as blower to suck air flow contg. dust is provided to the lower case. Since the dust is captured by the inertial force in the above-mentioned manner, the capturing region of the capturing plate is relatively increased.
