PURPOSE:To improve safety by detecting the positions of dogs provided to the positions where a crank shaft is roughly bisected with sensors and resetting the crank shaft directly toward the origin position in accordance with the detected state. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of the dogs 43A-43D are attached to the crank shaft 15 and two pairs of the sensors 45A-45D corresponding to the dogs 43AX43D are disposed to a machine bed 5. The retreat of a ram 13 is started at a middle speed when the ram 13 ends bending in the position ZD. The speed is increased to a high speed in the position Z4 when the dog 43A detects the end point. The ram is slowed down to a low speed in the position Z5 when the dog 43C or 43D detects the end point. The ram is stopped in the upper limit position Zu. The safety of the work is improved by the device constituted in the above-mentioned manner.
