摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the assembling process of a carriage mechanism by adopting a constitution that one end of a plate spring constituting the connection between a lead screw and a carriage main body is fixed to the carriage main body by inserting a U-shaped load adjusting shim to simplify the load adjustment of the plate spring and the fitting job. CONSTITUTION:A ball 20 is in contact with a slot of a lead screw 12 by prescribed pressing force by the load of a plate spring 17 and the rotation movement of the lead screw 12 is converted into rectilinear motion and delivered to the carriage main body 11. In order to adjust the load of the plate spring 17, a load adjusting shim 21 between the plate spring 17 and the carriage main body 11 is fixed. In adjusting the load, while the plate spring 17 is fitted to the carriage main body 11 and a screw 16 passes through the fitting hole provided at one end, the weight is to be measured. Since the load adjusting shim 2 is of U-shape, in removing or fitting the load adjusting shim 21, it is not required to remove completely the screw 16 from the fitting hole of the plate spring 17.
