PURPOSE:To make the title transformer small size and light in weight by providing a reactor in an exhaust duct. CONSTITUTION:Hitherto, the air taken in for cooling the high temperature oil in a transformer is exhausted from the cabin of a locomotive by an exhaust duct after passing an oil cooler 3 but a small size and light weight reactor 13 is provided in the exhaust duct 11 by making the reactor a dry air cooling system to enable using the air for cooling. After the reactor 13 is provided in the exhaust duct 11 to increase the cooling effect of the reactor, a wind guide 14 is provided to make the air for cooling pass in the coil of the reactor 13. An exhaust duct 15 exhausts the air which cooled the reactor 13 outside the cabin of the locomotive.
