PURPOSE:To speed up a colored hardcopy with a simple constitution by converting a color video signal into color information for printing according to a color conversion table, storing said information in the prescribed area of a memory, taking out said information stored in the memory, transmitting it to a color printer, and printing and recording it. CONSTITUTION:The color conversion table 11 fetches color video signals R, B and G transmitted to a CRT display device 1 from a CRT controller 2, and converts them into the printing color information corresponding to the color printer 4. The color conversion table 11 arbitrarily selects a color conversion pattern according to a pattern specifying signal S6 from a processor 12. It has a function to store the printing color information converted into parallel signals in a serial/parallel conversion part 43 in the prescribed area of the memory part 13, and a function that reads said information stored in the memory part 13, transmits it to the color printer 4 through a read printer port 46, and prints and records it as well as a function to output the pattern specifying signal S6.
