The gravitational hydroelectric generator, that is operated with the help of a circulating container system and the force of gravity, has its origin in a stream bed with a weir equipped with two discharge valves, of which one remains closed, while the other regulates the water level and discharge automatically. The discharge pipe runs on an elevated way, that rests on support masts, to the framework for the circulating system. The circulating containers running on the circulating chains over the system's wheels are filled with water on the downward leg, thus letting the force of gravity needed for obtaining energy go into action. Since the quantities of water available vary due to the weather, a second generator is provided, which automatically cuts in by means of a centrifugal clutch when there is faster circulation, due to larger amounts of water. The supply line is in the middle of the elevated way, well insulated against the cold, so that there are no outages in winter. Space remains on both sides of the pipeline to carry out checks and necessary repairs. The containers are emptied automatically in the lower part of the loop.
