PURPOSE:To improve the precision of focus detection and photometry by storing exit pupil position information of a photographic lens in the lens and reading this information by the body side. CONSTITUTION:Exit pupil position information and open F number information are read from memory means 401 and 402 incorporated in a photographic lens 400 by a body-side vignetting extent monitor means 45. The means 415 uses this exit pupil position information, set pupil position information 413 of a focus detector included in the body, and F number information 414 corresponding to the angle of spread of a detected luminous flux to calculate a limit F number of the occurrence of vignetting. Next, the means 415 calculates a vignetting parameter Vig. The means 415 transmits the parameter Vig reflecting the extent of vignetting part 412. The processing part 412 processes a pair of image data sent from a focus detecting optical block 411 to calculate the extent of image deviation, and the extent of defocusing is calculated in accordance with the extent of image deviation and is transmitted to a driving display means 416. |
