PURPOSE:To secure the superior sealing performance and permit the effective high pressure seal by fixing an impregnant consisting of ethylene tretrafluoride resin, silicone oil, and graphite powder onto a braid which is formed by braiding a glass fiber filament applied with bulky work. CONSTITUTION:A filament 2 is formed by twisting the noncontractable glass fiber applied with bulky work, and said filament 2 is impregnated with an impregnant 3 consisting of ethylene tetrafluoride resin, silicone oil and graphite powder. A braid 4 is formed by square-braiding the filament 2. The filament 2 has the individual curl loop formed randomly and possesses a large impregnant holding performance. Therefore, the superior sealing performance can be secured, and the high pressure seal can be effectively realized.
