PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a low silver content and a high sensitivity and capable of giving rapidly a picture image having a high contrast by incorporating a silver halide emulsion having at least two kinds of fogging nucleuses in the inside of the particle to different layers of the silver halide emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the silver halide emulsion having at least 2 kinds of the fogging nucleuses in the inside of the particle, in the different layers of the silver halide emulsion. The silver halide emulsion having the fogging nucleuses in the said of the particle is preferably the silver halide emulsion having core/shell type. The core/shell type silver halide emulsion having at least 2 kinds of the fogging nucleuses in the inside of the particle comprises the core/shell type emulsion having the different shell thickness, the prescribed emulsion having different compositions of the silver halide, or the prescribed emulsion having the different shell thickness and composition of the silver halide. |
