USE:An antimicrobial agent, anticancer agent or antiviral agent having relatively high safety. PREPARATION:A microorganism, belonging to the genus Streptomyces and capable of producing a substance SS50408, e.g. strain of Streptomyces sp. SS50408 (FERM-P No.8342), is inoculated into a nutrient culture medium and aerobically cultivated to afford the aimed substance SS50408. |
