PURPOSE:To reduce the fixing man-hours of a soft material by a method wherein the soft material is pressed into shape after being bonded with an iron foil and the resultant press-molded soft material is fitted to a resin injection mold so as to mold integrally with resin material. CONSTITUTION:The skin material 2 of an interior trim 1 consists of an iron foil 4 and a soft material (tricot fabric, polyvinyl chloride leather, polyvinyl chloride sheet or the like) 3, which is shaped after being bonded with the iron foil 4. After that, the skin material 2 is pressed into a desired shape and trimmed by cutting off its unnecessary portions. Next, the skin material 2 is fitted to a resin injection mold 7 so as to inject resin material 9, which forms the main body of the interior trim. Because the iron foil has higher rigidity and better formability than aluminum foil, the skin material consisting of the soft material and the iron foil is formed easily. In addition, because the resin material to form the main body of the interior trim is injected to said skin material, the whole man-hours for the interior trim is remarkably reduced. |
