PURPOSE:To supply a multiplexing control device with high reliability, and to hold the on-line operation of an output signal selecting part, by dualizing the output signal selecting part through the use of an automatic output selection circuit and a manual output selection circuit, and setting the switching method of the automatic output selection circuit by a self-diagnostic function. CONSTITUTION:At an automatic output selection circuit 18, arithmetic parts 23, and 24 are dualized, and the arithmetic parts 23 and 24 select independently the second higher signal out of three signals. The selected results are inputted to a diagnostic circuit 27 through output circuits 25 and 26. When the results of both arithmetic parts 23 and 24 are coincident, an output command signal 29 is issued from the diagnostic circuit 27, and it is inputted to an automatic output selection switch 28, then the switch 28 being operated, and an automatic selection signal 35 is outputted. When no coincidence is obtained in a diagnosed result at the diagnostic circuit 27, an output selecting function is shifted a manual output selection circuit 19. The manual output selection circuit 19 always follows the selected result of the automatic output selection circuit 18, and even when the function is shifted to the manual output selection circuit, the switching can be attained without disturbing a control output signal 12.
