PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary to draw a heavy line by adding a two-dimensional logical filter which takes out the data that includes a picture element and its peripheral picture elements sequentially for respective picture elements. CONSTITUTION:A drawing processor 1 draws a line whose width is one-picture element length in a picture memory 3. Then the memory 3 is scanned, and the two-dimensional logical filter 6 sequentially takes out the respective picture elements that are the object of the scanning, and simultaneously takes out the peripheral picture elements. If the bit of the line is included in the taken-out area, all bits of the area are made those of the line. Since the line-thickening processing is thus processed, a heavy line can be drawn in a short time. |
