PURPOSE:To permit the correct transmission by adjusting the shift of the half of the intermediate shafts clockwise and the half of the intermediate shafts counterclockwise under the stop of revolution of the sun gear and the internal gear of a transmission consisting of a star type or planetary gear type mechanism and locking the intermediate shafts, thus permitting the backlash to be eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A sun gear 5 and an internal gear 7 are locked, and the connecting rods 10 and 10 of the intermediate shafts 9a and 9b are revolved in the F-direction, and the rods 10 and 10 of the intermediate shafts 9c and 9d are revolved in the G- direction up to stop. Though the revolution of each intermediate gear 8a-8d becomes the revolution around the axis center of the rod 10, said revolution can be regarded as the revolution in the circumferential direction around the axis center of a gear 5, in a small range of the backlash corresponding distance, and the gears 8a and 8b revolve in the F-direction, and the gears 8c and 8d revolve in the G-direction, and the gears 5 and 7 stop at the position where the contact with each tooth flank eliminates the backlash. When the rod 10 is locked, and the lock of the gears 5 and 7 is released, the revolution direction is switched in the state where the backlash is zero, and the correct transmission free from the generation of delay of revolution is permitted.
