<p>1374902 Door latches ARN KIEKERT SOHNE 26 July 1972 [9 Sept 1971] 34880/72 Heading E2A A motor vehicle door latch comprises a rotary, forked latch member 3, one arm 4 of which constitutes a locking arm, a pawl 6 engageable in a "door closed" position, in at least one notch 5 of the arm 4, and a control lever 7 having a blocking element 10. The latter when the locking arm is in a "door open" position, blocks movement of an inside locking lever 9 normally operable from inside the vehicle and does not free this lever until an unlocking lever 8A is displaced which latter lever in turn displaces the control lever and hence the element 10 carried thereby and the pawl.</p> |
