PURPOSE:To display various kinds of parts-form in the three dimensions while using two dimensional expression that is usually employed by the designer by recognizing the three dimensional forms of respective sections forming parts by means of a plane-form data. CONSTITUTION:A plane-form data storage section 2 stores the form-data necessary for generating the form of parts as a plane-form data. A parts-forms section 3, permits a display section 6 to display the data stored in the storage part 2, and recognizes the two dimensional form as a three-dimensional form by using the size information S inputted from a form input section 7. Receiving this three-dimensional form data, a metal mold parts generating section 4 combines respective two-dimensional form data to generate the desired form of metal mold parts by using the correlation in such as position between respective plane-form data, and displays the result in a display section 6. As a result, the form of various kinds of parts can be displayed in three dimensional expression by using the two dimensional expression that the designer usually employs.
