PURPOSE:To improve far infrared radiation characteristics of an Al foil for cooking for use in wrapping fish, etc., by joining, by sintering, the simple grains of ceramic to the surface of an Al foil. CONSTITUTION:The simple grains of ceramic are allowed to fall dispersedly onto the surface of the Al foil 2 from a hopper 3 and sprinked uniformly. Subsequently, this Al foil 2 is passed through, for example, between a couple of pressure rolls 1. Then the Al foil 2 undergoes pressure energy by means of the pressure rolls 1, and the ceramic surface and the Al foil surface in contact with the above ceramic surface become the part of highest energy intensity. As a result, the Al surface having a melting point lower than that of ceramic is locally melted and, finally, the ceramic is joined to the Al foil 2 by sintering. When fish is wrapped up in the Al foil 2 obtained in this manner and is placed on the hearth, large amounts of far infrared radiation are radiated because the ceramic uniformly distributed on the internal surface of the Al foil 2 is previously sintered, so that far infrared radiation is infiltrated into the inside of the fish, and so, the fish as a whole can be uniformly heated.
