PURPOSE:To obtain a cured article which is inexpensive, excellent in heat resistance and suitable for automobile parts, etc., by heat-treating an aromatic polythioether sulfone polymer in the presence of a compound having a plurality of isocyanate groups in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic polythioether sulfone polymer represented by formula I [wherein Ar is a group of formula II, formula III or the like R<1>-R<5> are each H, a 1-8C hydrocarbonyl, a-e are each 0-4, Y is a direct bond, -O-, -S-, -SO-, -SO2- or the like, R is H or a 1-6C hydrocarbyl and 0<=m/(m+n)<1] is prepared. This polymer is mixed with a compound having at least two isocyanate groups in the molecule (e.g., hexamethylene diisocyanate or tolylene disiocyanate). This mixture is heat-treated to obtain a cured article of the aromatic polythioether sulfone.
