PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance of a resin composition and coherency of glass fibers, by blending a phenoxy resin with an epoxy resin at a specific weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A phenoxy resin is blended with an epoxy resin at 90:10-10:90wt. ratio to constitute a sizing composition. The phenoxy resin preferably consists of repeating units expressed by formula I (Z<1> is -CH2-, etc.; Y<1> is hydrogen atom or halogen atom; X is hydrogen atom or hydroxyl group; m is 0, 1 or 2; n is polymerization degree) and has 10,000-100,000 average molecular weight. The epoxy resin preferably consists of repeating units expressed by formula II (Y<2> is hydrogen atom or halogen atom; l is 0, 1 or 2; q is polymerization degree). Improved initial strength and heat resistance can be imparted to glass fibers by using this sizing composition.
