PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device having a high vibration resistance and impact resistance by fitting a sub-base by sandwiching it between the spindle motor for disk rotation and a main base and by fitting a bushing buffer material with a spacer to the sub-base. CONSTITUTION:The composition is made by providing the sub-base 9 in about the same dimension as those of the device planely and by fitting this sub-base 9 by sandwiching it between the spindle motor 2 for disk rotation and main base 1, but in case of this fitting, the cushion 12 with a spacer 11 is fitted to the sub-base 9. The sandwiched sub-base 9 is then fitted between the main base 1 and spindle motor 2 via the cushion 12 with spacer 11 by a bolt 10. In this way, the device can be made in a very small sized structure and the vibration and impact can effectively be cushioned by the cushion 12 with spacer 11 even in case of their transmission from the external part of the device to the sub-base 9.
