PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for providing a reserve hanger in addition to a hanger for hanging full bobbins required for roving change in roving changing operation by a roving changing machine, by providing a specific bobbin supporting member, lengthwise movement mechanism and lifting mechanism in a machine frame of a roving changing machine. CONSTITUTION:When roving bobbins hung from normal bobbin rails 4 and 5 of a creel 1 approach an empty state, a roving changing machine 14 runs to a roving changing position and stops. A rotating base plate 20 at an empty bobbin loading device is rotated to insert empty bobbins (B) into pegs 21 and 22 and the rotating base plat 20 is rotated to correspond both pegs 21 and 22 to reserve roving rows. Holding pieces of a holding device 39 hold and pull up empty bobbins (B) from the pegs 21 and 22. A reserve roving loading device is operated to remove full roving bobbins (F) from a hanger 10 of a magazine 11 and hang the full roving bobbins (F) from hangers 2 and 3. The roving changing machine 14 moves to the next roving changing position to take out empty bobbins (B) from the rails 4 and 5 and hang the empty bobbins (B) from the hanger 10. |
