PURPOSE:To prevent a shield plate from falling even when a sticking part between the shield plate and an elastic board comes off, by providing the shield plate enclosing the outside of a slider arranged interposing a magnetic core, and assembling a part of the shield plate at the slider. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 1 is fixed on an elastic board 9 with a sticking agent, while a side of the shield plate 13 of a quadrangular frame body is fitted in the groove 5a of a slider 5 in a magnetic head 1 having sliders 4 and 5. Therefore, since a part of the shield plate board 13 is assembled in the slider 5, the shield plate is prevented from coming off, and falling even when the sticking agent between the shield plate and the elastic board 9 comes off.
