<p>PURPOSE:To solve problems concerning an abnormal noise and damage to a valve seat of a master cylinder so effectively, by making it have its throttling action in a clearance around a valve disc of a relief valve, and constituting it so as to utilize the clearance as a new clearance. CONSTITUTION:When pressure in an auxiliary pressure chamber 44 exceeds the specified value, a flow to a main pressure chamber 42 is stopped, and when a back flow is allowed to go into the reversoir side, a throttle 70 restricting this backflow is set up at the side of the auxiliary pressure chamber 44 of a relief valve so-called as a quick take-up valve. Upon this, a maximum diametral part of a valve disc 80 of the relief valve 56 is made so as to be opposed to a vertical passage wall 62b of a valve body 62 forming a concavity 68, forming another throttle around the valve disc 80. And, this passage are is made larger than an area of the throttle 70 but smaller than a seal part passing area between the valve disc 80 and a valve seat 76. In consequence, another throttle can be installed without complicating a structure of the relief valve 56, thus problems concerning an abnormal noise and damage to the valve seat are solvable.</p> |
