PURPOSE:To shorten the program generation time by registering data, which can be preliminarily determined as standards, such as the work sequence and various work elements as standard data. CONSTITUTION:An interactive automatic programming system consists of a main control part 1, a keyboard 2, a work data editing means 3, a work data registering part 4, an input data storage part 6, a work program storage part 8, etc., and is provided with a graphic CRT 5. Technical data required for automatic determination of work conditions are preliminarily registered in a technical data registering part 6, and peculiar data such as the G code and the M code related to objective machine tools or the like are registered in a host processor data registering part 9. The main control part 1 generates an NC part program from input data in the input data storage part 6 based on data in the host processor data registering part 9 and is stored in the storage part 8. A series of these registering, storing, etc., are performed in the interactive form and are displayed on the CRT 5.
