The invention relates to an apparatus for preventing the backward sliding of a ski. The intention is that the invention should permit reliable operation and protected arrangement of the apparatus. To this end, the anti-sliding element is designed as a membrane (8, 8a) which hermetically seals a downwardly open recess (6) in the ski (1).
