PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy brake operation by providing an interlocking mechanism which positions a gear shifting lever from a selective gear shifting position to either a low speed transmission or a transmission releasing position, between a gear shifting guide section and a braking body. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal 34 is actuated rotationally downward while a gear shifting lever 3 is kept stationed at a stop groove (b) of a selective gear shifting position, the brake is applied to a transmitting mechanism in a transmission case 10 by a braking mechanism 35 by way of a rod 38 and a brake arm 36. Simultaneously, the gear shifting lever 3 is pushed by a releasing board by way of an interlocking wire 39 and an arm section 37. As a result, the gear shifting lever 3 comes out of the stop groove (b) so as to be rotated to the lower speed side together with an arm 26 by means of a spring 31. Accordingly, when a braking body 5 is actuated, as the gear shifting lever is not required to operate, a brakes operation can be easily effected.
