PURPOSE:To impart a uniform coating property without especially requiring the heat resistance of a base film at the time of coating, by preparing ink as an aqueous dispersoid. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer color material and paraffinic wax used heretofore are respectively dispersed in water using a surfactant and mixed to form aqueous ink and an ink sheet is formed from said aqueous ink. As the surfactant used for dispersing the coloring material and paraffinic wax in water, various ones can be used but, one kind of, or two or more kinds of an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant is especially pref. The composition of the aqueous dispersoid of the coloring material is prepared by adding 0.05-0.5pts.wt., pref., 0.05-0.2pts.wt. of the surfactant and 40-90pts.wt of water to 10pts.wt of the coloring material. The aqueous dispersoid of paraffinic wax is prepared by adding 1-50pts.wt., pref., about 5-20pts.wt. of the surfactant and 100-200pts.wt. of water to 100pts.wt. of paraffinic wax. |
