PURPOSE:To improve the performance of taking out paper sheets and the like by providing a paper falling preventing means on a take-out gap part side in a housing part and always holding sheets of paper in a horizontal condition, in a paper take-out device for a detail bill and the like in an automatic transaction device. CONSTITUTION:A housing part 1 for laminatedly housing a number of paper sheets P erectly in the horizontal direction, a paper energizing means 6, a paper take-out means, and a paper falling preventing means are provided in the captioned device. The paper falling preventing means consists of a pair of right and left leaf-spring elastic members 20 which interpose a paper take-out gap part 9 in between, and these leaf-spring elastic members 20 are fitted in a recess part 2a which is cut out on a guide wall face 3 on a bottom board 2 side, of the housing part 1, to hold a paper sheet P on the guide wall face 3 side being directed to the paper take-out gap part 9, in a horizontal condition. Accordingly, the paper sheets can be always held in a horizontal condition, preventing the occurrence of skewing immediately after setting or the poor way or failure of taking out.
