PURPOSE:To detect the partial discharge lights inside an apparatus surely by an exceedingly small number of photosensors by providing light reflection layers for reflecting the partial discharge lights to lead them to the photosensor, inside an apparatus tank. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus tank 4, light reflection layers 8 and 9 for reflecting partial discharge lights to lead them to a photosensor 7 are arranged. As a result, even if a partial discharge is generated in a region where the lights are not incident on the photosensor 7 directly, the partial discharge lights are reflected by the light reflection layers 8 and 9 and are led to the photosensor 7. Accordingly, one or an exceedingly small number of photosensors 7 can detect the partial discharge over a wide extent.
