PURPOSE:To expand a critical frequency in a high frequency band by disposing a piezoelectric body at least a part of a diaphragm, which carries out an electroacoustic transfer and emits a sound, through a viscoelastic material. CONSTITUTION:The diaphragm that is driven by a voice coil 20 to vibrate and emits a sound in the direction of an arrow is composed of a cone 14 and a dust cap, and the edge 12 of the cone 14 is surely fitted on a gasket 16. The piezoelectric body 32 is disposed at least on a part of the diaphragm, the dust cap 10, for instance, through the viscoelastic material 32. Similarly the piezoelectric body can be disposed on the cone 14. Moreover the similar processing can be applied to the entire dust cap 10 and the cone 14. Thus a sound can be reproduced up to a high frequency band, thereby forming an Hi-Fi sound.
