<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the physical and logical destruction of data due to a service interruption by starting the computer stopping process during the supply of power carried out by an emergency battery when the lapse is detected for the grace time obtained by subtracting the time needed for the computer stopping process from the feed security time of the emergency battery. CONSTITUTION:When the feed is started by an emergency battery in a service interruption mode, a computer main body 3 produces an interruption by the data received from a CVCF 2 via a signal line 5. This interruption is informed to a task 4 and the task 4 subtracts the time needed for the computer stopping process from the feed security time of the battery 1 to calculate the grace time. Then the task 4 informs the feed mode of the battery 1 and sets the calculated grace time to a subtraction counter to start this counter. Then the set grace time is counted down to zero for execution of the computer stopping process. For this purpose, the subtraction counter is reset.</p> |
