摘要 |
PURPOSE:To considerably decrease injuries by exfoliation, etc., by forming a composite magnetic film of a columnar ferromagnetic material and org. high polymer which is a magnetic recording layer formed via an underlying layer consisting of an org. high polymer in such a manner that said film can well absorb the stresses to contact sliding. CONSTITUTION:The polytetrafluoroethylene in an org. high polymer vapor source 7 is evaporated by resistance heating and the vapor thereof is deposited on a nonmagnetic substrate 1 through the plasma formed by a high-frequency electrode 9 to form the underlying layer 2 consisting of the org. high polymer to about 500Angstrom thickness. The ferromagnetic material in a magnetic material vapor source 6 is also evaporated by electron ray heating and the vapor thereof is passed together with the vapor of the polytetrafluoroethylene through the plasma formed by the high-frequency electrode 9. The ferromagnetic material and the polytetrafluoroethylene are simultaneously deposited on the underlying layer 2 by which the metal-polymer composite magnetic film consisting of the columnar ferromagnetic material 4 and the org. high polymer 3 having about 0.3mum film thickness is formed.
