The invention relates to a device which makes it possible to propel sailboard-type floating boards, canoes and dinghies, by means of a propeller, the rotation of which is caused by the action of a pedal and gear mechanism which the seated user causes to turn. It consists of a floating board 1 provided with an adjustable seat 6 and with a pedal and gear mechanism 2. The rotation of the pedal and gear mechanism 2 makes the shaft 4 turn, at the end of which the propeller 5 is fixed. A rudder 7 makes it possible to steer the craft. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for nautical sport and light navigation. <IMAGE>
