PURPOSE:To facilitate the required inspection or the like of a distribution controller, by making an operating state free of setting at discretion according to an electrically connected state of an external input terminal, in case of a device which has a distribution controller controlling a distribution ratio of driving torque to front and rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:In this four-wheel drive vehicle, an automatic transmission 2 and 4WD driving transfer unit 3 are connected to an output shaft of an internal combustion engine 1. The transfer unit 3 is selectively connected to a planetary gear type center differential gear 10 and its sun gear 13 and a ring gear 14. This unit is provided with a differential control clutch 21 as a driving torque distribution controller. In this case, an inspection operating connector 50 provided with two external input terminals and an earth terminal is installed in a controller 45 of a hydraulic controller 22 driving the clutch 21. And, either of these external input terminals is electrically connected to the earth terminal in a selective manner whereby such an output signal that sets transfer torque capacity of the clutch 21 to zero or the maximum can be outputted.
