PURPOSE:To detect any trouble surely by transforming a square alternating current generated by making and breaking an AC-rectified direct current, rectifying a plurality of secondary side outputs and connecting them in series, and monitoring DC voltage wholly and individually. CONSTITUTION:A direct current 119 obtained by rectification 121 of AC 117 is inputted to the primary coil 111 of a transformer 115 and broken by a switching means 123 to generate a square alternating current. A direct current 125 obtained by rectification with a secondary side rectifier 127 of a square alternating current generated in a plurality of secondary side coils 113 of the transformer 115 is synthesized 131 in series to output a power 129. The synthetic output 129 is compared 137 with the first reference value 133 and an output 135 of said comparison controls the switching means 123 to stabilize the output 129. On the other hand, an output signal 125 of one of the secondary side rectification means 127 is compared 145 with the second reference value 141 to output an abnormality detection signal 143 if a certain relation is created between them. In this manner, and abnormality on the secondary side is surely detected.
