PURPOSE:To make desired acceleration securable according to the operating speed of an accelerator, by finding a desired transmission gear ratio from the corrected transmission ratio operated on the basis of a degree of variations in an acceleration command input and the basic transmission gear ratio operated on the basis of a car speed or the like. CONSTITUTION:In this controller, there are provided with a command input detecting device M3, detecting an acceleration command input to be given to an engine from an acceleration command device M2 responding to operation of a driver, and a variation degree detecting device M4 detecting a degree of variations in the acceleration command input. And, also there is provided with a corrected transmission gear ratio operational device M5 operating a corrected transmission gear ratio according to the detected variation degree. In addition there is provided with a desired transmission ratio operational device M6, and a basic transmission gear ratio is operated on the basis of each output signal out of the car speed detecting device M1 and the command input detecting device M3 at the side device M6, while the desired transmission ratio is operated on the basis of this basic transmission gear ratio and the said corrected transmission gear ratio. And, according to this desired transmission gear ratio, the transmission gear ratio of a continuous variable transmission is regulated by a controlling device M7. |
